This weekend was Greek Easter. Growing up we always celebrated two Easters...which was awesome! I LOVE LOVE Greek Easter! It does not get better than Greek food, my all time favorite. I can't wait until Amelia can try all the good eats. This year we celebrated with our family here in Georgia and we had a great time. The picture below is a picture from us at last years Greek Easter which you can read about here. I think I was about 5 months pregnant, funny how much can change in a year :)
Brian had a couple of days off this week so we decided that we wanted to check a couple of Georgia things off our list. We made it up to the cute town of Blue Ridge. We hit up the Olive Oil company there and LOVED it. I loved trying all the different types of Olive Oil and Balsamic vinegar. If you are in the area check it out it was great (except the African Olive Oil....not good). After our trip to Blue Ridge we wanted to go on a little hike. Goose loves the water so we went to Lake Allatoona to try and find some trails around the lake. We found a great 5 mile trail that walked right along the lake almost the whole time. We could barely get Goose out of the water. It was such a nice hike and we are finally getting to break in our hiking backpack.
Amelia loves the backpack and being out and about. She usually passes out like this which cracks us up every time.
This week we also got hit with the flu. Very exciting...and by exciting I mean extra laundry, dirty dishes in the sink, pajamas all day, and Brian working from home. We are really fortunate that Brian can work from home because I am completely useless this week. The funny thing is that even though Amelia has been sick she is still a happy little ham. Sometimes when she is eating she can't stop smiling long enough to keep the food in her mouth. Evidence below.
Anyway I need to sign off and take a much needed nap....or eat the chicken soup that a sweet friend brought by. Happy day before Friday everyone!
